This year’s theme, "CITY AS A STAGE", focuses on Sarajevo's unique experience in executing large-scale events in public spaces and transforming public areas into a vibrant cultural and artistic scene. 

Positioned as a two-day industry gathering, SaMeet brings together key players of the creative ecosystem: from creatives, producers, and institutions, to the city itself, funders, and international partners. Through concrete panels and dialogues, we open up questions such as what makes a great creative city, how to balance public investment with public value, whether administrative systems can keep up with the rhythm of the industry, and how individual successes and festivals can be turned into a stable, sustainable, and predictable business model.

From the role of cultural institutions as creative infrastructure and the importance of brands supporting the scene, to new frontiers in art, photography, gaming, and design, and all the way to strengthening local teams and international visibility, we are finding ways to export Sarajevo to the world. The conference does not end when the curtain falls, but rather delivers clear recommendations and concrete next steps that build the future of the creative economy.
